First, to receive Dish Network's digital television programming on the StarBand system, a Dish Network upgrade to the 24 by 36 inch StarBand satellite dish antenna is necessary. For present Dish Network subscribers with Dish 500 programming, an upgrade is as simple as switching the antenna mount and adding two coaxial cables to the StarBand Model 180. Dish Network satellite television is not currently offered through other satellite internet providers.
