Computer Repair Systems shows service providers
the money.
Computer Repair Systems (CRS) is tuning up more
business for service providers with an online platform that
doesn't leave them hunting for their payments.
The Boca Raton, Fla.-based service solution
provider has just formally launched ComputerRepair.com, an
online platform that enables any size company to procure
computer services anywhere in the US.
Jeffrey Leventhal, CEO and founder of Computer
Repair Systems, LLC said its platform has been designed to be
faster, cheaper and easier than traditional methods. The
on-demand platform currently leverages a national network of
3,400 qualified service providers.
"Generally, clients can count on having 15 to 20
technicians in most zip codes in every U.S. state," he said. "We
will send the work order out to all 15 technicians, the first
one to accept it gets the business, because response time is
important."
Service providers can chose how they want to
receive work orders via instant message, e-mail, or on a pager
or handheld device. An electronic payment process eliminates all
paperwork normally associated with the procedure, as the service
providers use an On-line Office to track the status of their
invoices. Once the task is completed and the work order is
closed out, the technician's account is credited right away with
payment.
"If you look at all of the service models out
there, none of them really look at the interest of the
technician. Instead they care more about cutting costs,"
Leventhal said. "Maybe if they look at the technicians’
interest, which is they want to do work and they want to get
paid timely and if they can address that, then they are going to
get high quality work from them."
There is no cost for a service provider to sign
up with the company but when a work order is closed CRS takes a
10 per cent fee for giving them the client and collecting their
payment.
The self-regulating system gives clients the
ability to post ratings and comments about the technicians they
have used, which is similar to eBay and other online procurement
sites. The rating system involving six stars offers users an
added layer of assurance that they are getting a verified and
qualified service vendor.
"Service providers do not want bad feedback. If
they get bad feedback, they are black listed from our system and
they can't sign on," he said. "We give the best technicians the
best opportunities to shine."
While the company does entertain a number of
inquiries by service providers they are looking for more
specifically in the areas of North and South Dakota. The minimal
requirements the company is looking for from a service provider
is two years experience with an A+ certification.
