Home Video Experts Brings Digital Surveillance
Into the Home
HomeVideoExperts (HVE), a leading distributor of
video surveillance products for the home, today announced that
it has launched a new line of ten Internet-enabled video
monitoring systems designed and priced for the average
homeowner. Utilizing high-speed Internet connections (DSL, Cable
Modems), these new systems allow live remote monitoring and
recording of up to 16 surveillance cameras simultaneously.
HVE's new systems provide continuous
indoor/outdoor monitoring using tiny, 3-inch color security
cameras or cameras hidden in common household fixtures like
clocks or smoke detectors. Each camera can be viewed live from
any Internet-connected PC, anywhere, and each system digitally
records 7+ days of full-motion video from every camera without
tapes or VCRs.
HVE has priced their systems within reach of most
homeowners. Edward Shaw, CEO, HomeVideoExperts, explains: "After
10 years of designing and installing surveillance systems for
schools and institutions, I discovered that many people wanted
similar monitoring capabilities for their own homes." He
continues: "But there wasn't any easy way for the homeowner to
find the right components and assemble an affordable, quality
system -- until now."
"Keeping an eye on your property, children, pets,
your front door or back yard: There are so many benefits to
having Internet access to your surveillance system. Monitor from
work, on vacation -- no matter where you are," says Shaw. "And
for the first time, you can have this high-resolution,
professional system without the hassle and expense of building
it piece by piece -- you can even install it yourself with hand
tools and an afternoon, or we can arrange for professional
installation of your system," Shaw concludes.
